Riding Your Bicycle

Biking should be above all else, FUN! I understand the need for it to be many other things to many other people. However, when it stops being fun, it will stop all together. The easiest way for being on a bicycle to stop being fun is to compare yourself to another cyclist that causes you to feel bad about your riding.

For a free legal consultation,
call 1-844-394-0293

The key is if the comparison makes you feel bad about your biking.  I feel it is best to chart your progress and feel proud how far you have become.  Of course some healthy competition with your friends is fine as well. The important thing to realize is that when you are on a bike, it should be in a capacity that you find enjoyable. In my case, it happens many different ways. I love fast group rides from time to time that I just try to hang on to. I also enjoy (even more) a slow ride with my 5 year old daughter in the park.   Never let yourself feel you should be able to go as fast/far/long as anyone else. We all have different, ages, experience, time on the saddle, free time, physical injuries/limitations, etc. You only have to know when you ride, you feel like the best version of yourself. Of course, I am an experienced bicycle injury lawyer, so please follow all the rules of the road and be safe! Remember, as the weather gets colder always look out for ice, etc.

Ride.  Be Safe. Have Fun.
