Roberta Dodge, 50 years old, who was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by a 58 year old Olympia man, that crashed in Mason County on October 2nd has unfortunately passed away. Our condolences to her family and to her friends.
The motorcycle that she was a passenger on failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree. The driver was arrested for vehicular assault and driving under the influence. Both driver and passenger were wearing helmets at the time. Please, never operate or get on a bike after anybody was drinking alcohol. In fact, after only two drinks you are statistically 11 times more likely to crash the motorcycle. And even after one drink, no jury would ever want to give you money for your pain and suffering. Just simply stay away from alcohol when you ride.
Have a good time. Be safe. Be well.
This is Andrew Kass, standing up for bikers that go down.
