Pedal America is a national show about the benefits of being a cyclist.
Today I want to write about and perhaps for many introduce Ira David’s show Pedal America. This is the ONLY national show centered around bike riding in the United States; all cyclists should watch and support this show. The show airs on PBS and I encourage everyone one to check it out. The website is also very informative and you can watch past episodes online. The website also has great information of bicycle friendly cities with very helpful links to enjoy riding there. The reason this show personally excites me, is that it does a fantastic job of showing all the benefits riding creates. The mission as stated in the cite is:
“Pedal America aims to get the message out that bicycling is fun, economical, eco-friendly, and a fun means of activity with friends and family that can be enjoyed safely!”
I believe this simple sentence sums up why I love cycling so much!
