Advanced Sports International is recalling approximately 650 Fuji bicycles due to a potential fall hazard present on these bikes. The bikes involved include the 2017 Fuji bicycles with Oval Concepts Rear Wheels, available in a variety of colors. Consumers can locate the model name printed on the frame of the bicycle. The wheel model is printed on the rim of each wheel.

The affected bicycles were sold at Fuji Bicycle and Authorized Oval Concept dealers between April 2016 and October 2016. Prices of the bicycles ranged from $2,000 to $8,000.

Advanced Sports International has issued this recall due to multiple reports of freehub slipping during pedaling. At the time of this alert, no injuries or crashes have been reported.

Affected consumers should stop riding their bicycle and contact Advanced Sports International immediately to receive a free replacement freehub body. The can be contacted at 1-888-286-6263 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at www.fujibikes.com or www.ovalconcepts.com
