It amazes me how somebody, somewhere, somehow finds the desire, motivation and time to study everything! I have probably read 10 “studies” in the last couple of months of all the benefits of riding a bicycle. I have no doubt the studies are correct. However, there was never really a reason to do them.

Every person knows that when you get on a bike, you feel like a kid… and that is a good feeling. When it comes to exercise, the best way to stick to it, is to do something you enjoy; everybody loves riding a bike. Accordingly, no study necessary, just jump on a bike and ride… it’s like riding a bike! Now once most people start riding their bike, they become addicted to the feeling during and afterwards. I don’t need a study to know that when I ride, I can eat more and sleep better. I don’t need a study to know that I will be in a better mood that day and more productive at work.
