Escape the cold and enjoy the cool refreshing breeze as we
invite you on the top 3 bicycle tours during the winter
It can get very depressing this time of year, when most of the time you are riding but not moving… ie, the dreaded trainer. If you have the time and money, a great way to keep excited
about your bike is to plan a trip. This gives you something to look and more importantly train for! There are many great bike vacations, but here are three great ones.
1- Golden Gate Getaway Bike Tour: Enjoy the beautiful city while doing what you love.
This bicycle vacation will begin and end in The City by the Bay. You get a chance to ride
towards the famous golden gate bridge along the grand Ridgecrest Road in Marin
County and onto Mount Tamalpais. There will be an incredib le 11 mile ride through the
heart stopping Marin Headlands. Take a break from the cold, and enjoy us on a bike
tour through one of the finest places to ride a bike. This is a great way to leave your heart in San Francisco!
2- Half Moon Bay Pacific Coast Bike Tour: Breakaway from that hectic schedule and join
us on the tour that they say time has forgotten. You begin in Los Altos where you make
your way to the coastal range that leads you to the magnificent Half Moon Bay. There you can
explore the Famous Bike Hut as well as the beautiful sites that the Amgen Tour of
California highly suggested we see. We will end this 3 day excursion by riding past the
area of astonishing micro climates and back to Los Altos.
3- Costa Rica Guanacaste Bike Tour: Spice up your winter and tag along the magnificent
tour down in Costa Rica. Explore the breathtaking attractions Costa Rica has to offer.
Pedal up to the Boriquen waterfall and head out to flamingo bay. Along the
ride you can stretch your legs and enjoy gorgeous scenic attractions where you can enjoy
kayaking and snorkeling as well. This trip will also allow you to engage in multiple activities as
you bike to the Plata Island and through the country streets of
Rincon de la Vieja. This awsome trip end in Avellanas . The wild life is incredible and the native Costa Ricans are very friendly.
Remember, even when you are on a vacation, follow all the same safety precautions you would at home. This includes a helmet, glasses and lights.
Ride. Be Safe. Have Fun.
