There is something fascinating that happens when two people ride together. Both riders benefit from sharing the work of pulling at front. Both riders can go faster and further together than they can by themselves. In fact, the bigger the group the safer for all riders and faster and further all can go.
This is a great lesson in life. The sum of what two or more people working together can do is exponentially more than working on their own. Biking in a group teaches one the importance of communication, cooperation and the value this team work brings. I wish everyone, non bikers included, would work together not against each other. This concept extends not only to people, but to communities and even nations. All too often it seems that if nations would work together and respect each other our world would not only be safer but also provide much more food and joy for all the citizens of the world. As a bicycle enthusiast and experienced bicycle injury lawyer, I know how much a bicycle can change peoples lives. As you may know from all my blog postings, I feel the bicycle can solve most of our world problems, such as health, pollution, and opportunity for those without the ability to afford an automobile. I now feel it may even teach everyone how important it is to work together. In my practice, we work with a team of the best trial lawyers in the nation. This is another example of how everyone is benefited by working together! While writing this blog, I stumbled upon another well written blog that has a very similar concept as I do, so here is a link to that blog.
Ride. Be Safe. Have Fun.
