fatal motorcycle accident

According to law enforcement authorities, a car and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of 6th Street and Hunting Park Avenue at precisely 5:15 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 8.

According to authorities, Jason Arroyo, a 41-year-old man, was riding his motorcycle in a westerly direction along Hunting Park Ave. Meanwhile, on the same road but in the opposite direction, there was a gray Ford F150 truck traveling eastwards.

The Ford car was busy negotiating a left turn on 6th Street, when suddenly, a Yamaha motorcycle painted in black and blue collided head-on with the Ford at the busy intersection.

Police have stated that Arroyo, who resided in the 3000 block of N. Mascher St., was swiftly taken to the hospital by medics while in an exceedingly critical state. Unfortunately, at precisely 5:41 p.m., medical professionals declared Arroyo deceased.

The Ford’s driver chose to stay present at the location and is demonstrating full cooperation with the authorities.

Authorities have stated that they do not suspect the involvement of driving under the influence in the incident; however, a thorough investigation into the crash is presently underway.
