Paducah, Kentucky – First reported by KFVS 12, a man from Paducah lost his life on Tuesday morning in a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. The incident occurred on Krebs Station Road in the 1800 block, prompting a response from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office reported that at 8:06 a.m., a 32-year-old man named Todd Ligon was riding his 2008 Honda motorcycle in the eastbound direction on Krebs Station Road. Simultaneously, a 2022 Ram 5500 tank truck driven by a 59-year-old man named Bobby Ives from Benton, Kentucky, was traveling westbound on the same road.
During the westbound journey, Ives encountered a stopped trash collection truck. In an attempt to pass the stationary vehicle, he entered the eastbound lane. Unfortunately, this resulted in a head-on collision with Ligon’s motorcycle. Tragically, Ligon was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
