Bicycle blog – part 2
Well I now got a professional fit. If you read part 1 of this blog
you may be under the assumption I used some of the newest technologies
and paid about $300 for my fit. Well that is not what happened. I
started feeling guilty for spending so much money for a fit with a
wife and 2 small kids with many financial (and emotional) needs. I
also felt like using the dfu machine made more sense if you were
starting with a blank slate and could choose any frame that seemed
best for you. In my case I just purchased a new bike last year
(bianchi Infinito ultegra) and was very happy with it. So I just had a
pro at a local bike shop take a look while I was on a trainer. He was
able to see I needed to move my seat back a 1/4 inch and raise it
about 1/2 inch and voila I felt perfect on the bike. Well I am riding
the Kickapoo this weekend and will see how it goes. Let me know your
experiences of getting fitted
Ride safe.
